The Del Mar Dowel Outdoor TV Lift Cabinet brings together sculptural furniture design and Cabinet Tronix hidden-TV technology in one of our most distinctive outdoor cabinets yet.
Handcrafted from premium kiln-dried IPE hardwood, the Del Mar features individually shaped vertical wood dowels that create remarkable depth, texture and natural variation across the cabinet. Warm amber, reddish and deep brown tones run throughout the IPE, making every Del Mar unique.
At the touch of a button, your television quietly rises from inside the cabinet. When you’re finished watching, the TV retracts completely from sight and the protective powder-coated aluminum top closes over the cabinet.
The result is simple: beautiful outdoor furniture when the television is hidden and premium outdoor entertainment when you want it.
Optional heavy-duty stainless-steel locking caster wheels make the Del Mar movable throughout your outdoor living space. Depending on TV size and configuration, optional 360-degree swivel and sound bar solutions are also available.

The Del Mar was designed around a simple idea: adding an outdoor television shouldn’t mean sacrificing the beauty of your outdoor living space.
Its distinctive vertical IPE dowel exterior gives the cabinet an architectural, sculptural quality unlike conventional outdoor TV enclosures. The rounded profile, natural variation of genuine IPE hardwood and contrasting aluminum top allow the Del Mar to look like a substantial piece of luxury outdoor furniture — because it is.
Behind that design are 25 years of Cabinet Tronix experience building hidden TV furniture. Hundreds of construction, material and component decisions have been refined over thousands of customer installations to create an outdoor entertainment system designed to be beautiful, functional and dependable.

To protect the interior electronics as weather changes from high to low and humid to dry, your cabinet comes pre-installed with a power bar surge protector with the highest outdoor rating.
Cabinet-Tronix high quality aluminum tops are fabricated by a company with 85 years of experience and powder coating has been applied by craftsmen in business for over 30 years. Select from white, flat black or gray when you complete your purchase.
Two interior electronic walls with professional electronics and wiring come pre-installed. Both interior boards have sheathings of protective Sunbrella material. Professional commercial grade weather seal stripping locks out moisture.
An IPE wooden door on the back of the cabinet seals and attaches with stainless steel bolts provides easy access into cabinet cavity. We do not recommend burying our TV lift cabinet unless the work is done by a professional electronics contractor.
A Nexus 21 US-made telescoping lift suited to the TV size, weight, and how the furniture is being used will be pre-installed on your TV lift cabinet. The Nexus system has proven itself over 14 years and thousands of units and comes with a 10-year warranty. A durable universal TV mount is included with the TV lift system.
A durable hand-held up and down RF remote control will be pre-installed in your cabinet. If you would prefer to switch out and integrate with an infrared, contact closure or IP remote platform, we can do easily do that.
Your TV lift cabinet system will arrive pre-installed with an infrared repeater system so that you can use your cable box remote without line of site. There will be no external eye on the cabinet.
A heavy-duty TV mount is included with every TV lift system. Part of the TV mount will be pre-installed on the lift, the other part will be packaged, ready for installation on your TV.
After setting the TV into a position you like, plug in the height adjuster nub and the lift will repeat that position every time. If you need to change your TV size or desired position in the future, resetting is as easy as 1, 2, 3.
Appropriate controllers and power cords for your country are available. If you are installing your TV lift cabinet system in a country using 220V, 230V, or 240V current, just let us know and we will include the controller and power cord to fit your power source.
2 pre-installed premium grade HDMI cables with a cable web wrap are included with each TV lift cabinet system.
The 360-degree manual swivel can be a game changer. If the swivel is added, the TV and sound bar can be rotated for viewing from various places in your outdoor living area. The swivel can also help with sun glare. The swivel has a safety feature that restricts the TV from being lowered unless it is in the original position.
Price of the swivel is based on the size of TV and/or configuration that is being used. Call or email in for details. If simply using a 55inch TV under most circumstances the price is $750.
The sound bar bracket and/or added space allows for sound to travel up and down with the TV.
Price of the sound bar shelf, plate or space will depend on the size of TV and/ or configuration.
If using a 55 inch TV under most circumstances the shelf is $200.
Cabinet Tronix uses high-end stainless-steel swivel caster wheel sets which not only make the entire unit more stable, but they keep the wheels, locks and bearings from rusting or breaking. In addition, the cabinet is much easier to move around, and the sturdy wheel locks can hold more weight than the cheaper wheels.
