Q:  Which designs can I put at the foot of my bed?

A:  Any of our 60+ designs can be ordered for the foot of your bed!  When ordered for the foot of a bed, the front of the furniture faces away from the bed and the TV faces the bed.  All of our designs are finished on all 4 sides and the top molding wraps around the back as well – so it looks beautiful when viewed from the bed.

Q:  Can the TV rotate to be viewed from different angles?

A:  Yes- an automated 360 degree swivel is an option available on all 60+ designs.  By remote control, this enables you to rotate the TV and watch it from any angle.

Q:  Do you keep any designs in stock?

A:  Yes- we keep our Classic Designs in stock.  They come in 2 sizes, 3 finishes and include a component section on bottom.  They are finished on all four sides and can be ordered for the foot of the bed or against a wall.  Note: We also keep them in stock unfinished – which are ready for customers who want a custom finish applied.

Q:  Where can I find dimensions?

A:  The Classic styles have dimensions listed on our website.  The Modern and Designer styles are all hand crafted for each customer- so dimensions are customizable and based on your needs.  Just let us know if there are dimensions that are important to you!

Q:  What is the largest LCD or Plasma I can use?

A:  We can build your furniture for ANY size LCD or Plasma!

Q:  How does the TV get installed?

A:  The TV is installed onto the lift the same way as it would be installed on your wall using a standard flat TV wall mount.  Here are the 4 most common ways our customers install the TV:

1. Contact a local Audio/Video company to install the TV.
2. Purchase the TV from Cabinet Tronix as part of our Plug and Play package.  Please click on the “Plug and play” link above for details.
3. Purchase the mount and cables from us and we’ll install them for you.  You may be responsible for adjusting the universal TV mount to fit your TV.  (Call for details)
4. Purchase a TV wall mount and install the TV yourself like you would on a wall.

Q:  How long has Cabinet Tronix been in business?

Q:  How can I control my components when they are hidden in the component section?

A:  We install an IR repeater system which allows you to control your DVD player and cable box while they are hidden in the component section.  This is included in any of our 60+ designs!

Q:  Can you build a custom design that is not on your web site?

A:  Yes-  you’ll want to send us pictures and/or drawings.  Call us and we would be happy to help.

Q:  Can I buy the Plasma or LCD from you so it will be easy to set up?

A:  Yes- Please click on the “Plug & Play” link at the top of this page.

Q:  Can I have a custom finish to match my furniture?

A:  Yes- All we need is for you to send us a finish sample to match. (or drawer etc.)  Please note there is an additional charge for this.

Q:  Can you send me finish samples?

A:  Yes- please call for details.

Q:  What does the back of the TV look like when it is as the foot of my bed?  Do the wires and TV show from the back?

A:  You will see a nice, clean black wall behind the TV when it is up- so you don’t see the back of the TV or cables.

Q:  How many components can I fit in the component section?

A:  The Classic Designs are designed to hold a DVD player and cable/satellite box in the bottom component section.  The Modern and Designer styles are all custom made to order, so the component section will have as much room as you need!

Q:  What if I live in New York and you are in San Diego?

A:  We have been helping customers nationwide for over 5 years.  In fact, more than 90% of our customers live outside of California.  In addition to providing dimensions, we can also send finish samples so you know exactly what your furniture will look like.

Q:  Do you sell to International customers?

A:  Yes- we will configure the TV lift for your country’s power needs: 220V etc.  We also provide you with a power receptacle localized to your country.

Q:  What type of TV lift do you use?

A:  The US made commercial lift system we use is widely accepted as the #1 commercial grade lift design in the luxury Audio/Video industry and has a 3 year limited warranty.  All steel gears and gear racks eliminate the need for periodic lubrication and avoid the challenges inherent with plastic or synthetic gears and gear racks. UL approved.

Q:  Do you provide white glove delivery service?

A:  Yes- the shipping company we use for US deliveries specializes in blanket wrapped shipping for antiques and custom luxury furniture nationwide.  They will hand carry it into your house upstairs or on the ground floor.
